The Cambridge Dictionary defines half-truth as "a statement that is intended to deceive someone by telling only part of the truth".

Half-truth is not truth, half-truth is more dangerous than a lie.
Half-truth is never acceptable particularly from those responsible for the administration of justice.
When it comes to half-truth from certain circles of authority, most people tend to think that this is a sign of corruption...
